Return of Roland The Gunslinge

The Dark Tower is a series of seven novels, mind of Stephen King, who would best be described as a cross between “The Lord of the Rings and a spaghetti western are described. Well, I would say that the Dark Tower Lot is odd and graphics. In preparation for these productions, I decided to quest, that I started prior years when I read The Dark Tower to rethink, for the first time. I use “read” the word coward because you did not actually read The Dark Tower, you live. Roland Deschain Jake Chambers with Eddie Dean, Susannah and Oy the Billy-bumbler call me back at once a part of their ka-tet, or group of destiny. The strange encounters, deadly enemies, and many attractions are vague in my mind, as memories of another life.

Although my memory is vague The Dark Tower, I remember that my favorite book, the third in the series, “wasteland”. Who remembers the haunted city of Lud and the evil man tick. For me, the scariest encounter throughout the course Dark Tower series with a train smart but suicidal Blain called Mono. This intense episode pits Gunslinger and his companions against Blain and his infinite amount of computer skills in a game of puzzles to death. What sticks in my mind is how the single Blain was to involve a fictitious childhood book a train called Charlie the Choo-Choo. The word “char”, which means death and Jake Chambers wonder if children take the train or going to laugh, to cry. I keep thinking if I the real life of children’s books to see Thomas the train.

How scenes like this will result in a Dark Tower movie? I am camp, but for the film Dark Tower. This film series, an impressive number of fans who portrayed the characters and settings from the source in the literature, in an accurate and entertaining.

Fortunately, the movies, The Dark Tower and mini-series is a great chance of success because the project is in the hands of an experienced manager with decades of experience in the film industry to put Ron Howard. The most important ingredient, however, the actor who plays the main role of Roland Deschain. Before I read The Dark Tower, and had described to me quickly, I asked myself as The gunslinger Clint Eastwood. It was recently reported, however, that the role of Roland Javier Bardem was offered an Oscar for his role in the film “No Country for Old Men”. Bardem is the gruff behavior and familiarity with the films in arid landscapes West, it is a great fit. The only problem is Bardem has brown eyes and Roland Deschain, is described in the book strongly blue eyes. Here, modern special effects, or simply contact lenses can play a role. Otherwise, Javier Bardem adopted the role of The Gunslinger great potential.

I look forward to re-read The Dark Tower as a lead-up movies and miniseries. Even if the films do not live to the expectations of the Dark Tower “, I get the thrill of life throughout the series of books again.
