Matt Bellamy is the guitarist / singer / pianist of the English rock band Muse. When we talk about great guitar players you often hear the same names in bands from time to time. People are going to quote Jimi Hendrix, Slash, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton and so on, but rarely (if ever) heard Bellamy name mentioned in one breath.
What I love most, Bellamy is that there is no ego in his game and he is never complacent at all. Everything he did this for the good of the song, and he’s not afraid to make mistakes. If you’ve never seen Muse play live, you also agree that the man knows how to ‘wow’ a lot and how you fill a stage and a showman. For a group with only 3 members, Muse sure a lot of noise!
Part of the reason is that many of these guitarists are in the twilight of their careers, and they have a lot of work that we are at this point of view is the test of time, while Matt Bellamy is still strong and pumping album after album – no more revolutionary, then the last.
I firmly believe that in the coming years, people look back and realize what an incredible genius of Matt Bellamy. Not only is he an excellent technical skills, but it is also very creative and unique. In addition, he has a beautiful voice that compliments the music perfectly.
